Our Team


All our tutors are screened for their knowledge and friendly personality. The first TWO lessons of every tutor, the manager attends them and make sure the tutor follows all important steps and adhere strictly to company's tutor regulations. Manager will also rate the environment, if it is not suitable for learning( noise, regular disturbance etc) a new conducive environment has to be arranged.

Mbhele Sweetness

A postgraduate (PGCE) student with Wits University, currently our Life Sciences, Geography, History and Languages tutor. She has good communication skills & is multilingual (up to 9 SA languages including Sign Language). These skills makes her communicate effectively in our local languages on challenging concepts with students. She works at Labour Dept as a Sign Language interpreter to further her knowledge.

Swart Mariska



Mariska is a Full-Time tutor at IT IS TEA TIME, tutoring Foundation Phase Learners. She is very good with children, very patient, organised and a great listener. She is friendly and always smiling. She posses’ good fundamental skills to equip learners with basic reading, writing, numeracy, speaking etc. She also Tutors Afrikaans to senior learners. She is playful and learners also feel welcomed and comfortable around her.

Thapelo Monyela

Thapelo Monyela is a master's student at the University Of Limpopo and currently our Manager at IT IS TEA TIME. He is charasmatic, patient, friendly and possesses strong leadership skills. He has an unmeasurable passion for education and plays a huge role in making education fashionable at It Is Tea Time. On his master's degree he is doing a research on how languages influence the academics of learners in schools and how to improve them.

Nelisiwe Aphane


Nelisiwe is a 2nd year BAcc student at the University of Limpopo and Commercial subjects tutor at IT IS TEA TIME. He is a Limpopo SAICA initiator and a young inspiring Entrepreneur who has founded and managed Moreku Choc Biscuits. He has been involved in many Entrepreneurial Development Program and Academic Camps. His involvement in these programs not only help him to understand in-depth of finance and business but also help him to find different ways and examples to explain complicated concepts to learners and inspire them.

Mangwale Pertunia



Mangwale Pertunia obtained 7 distinctions in Grade 12. She is IT IS TEA TIME Mathematics & Sciences tutor and also studying Medicine. She is a very dedicated and ambitious tutor. She has a strong passion and good understanding of Mathematics & Sciences. She is part of Bokamoso bja ZB and also a motivational speaker & Mentor where he guide learners about life challenges and academic paths.

Our Expert Tutors Requirements:

Be able to tutor at least 2 subjects.

Be studied/studying towards subjects you want to tutor (i.e. if you are Engineering student, you will be allowed to tutor Maths & Sciences)

If not studying, an average mark of 85% in Matric is required for subjects you want to tutor
